Greatness isn’t for the fainthearted (Excerpt)

“Attaining greatness is not for the fainthearted. Ask the 44th President of the US- Barack Obama! He would tell you that “Making your mark on the world is hard. If it were easy, everybody would do it. But it’s not. It takes patience, it takes commitment, and it comes with plenty of failures along the way.”
As the first black President of the superpower country who won the presidency twice, no doubt, he left a mark. However, his journey from childhood to the highest office in the land wasn’t that easy. It was hard, to say the least.
He had endured lots of challenges before reaching that high. As he said in the quote above, it took him embracing some failures along the way and outlasting so many setbacks.
When we review history, all the great ones didn’t have an easy pass to greatness. They were belittled and ridiculed. Their words were misconstrued and their actions met with fierce confrontations…”
