Improving Performance by Creating a Pro-feedback Culture (Event on May 26)

Join FCSHRM for it’s May Chapter Meeting, where Dr. Assegid Habtewold will provide an informative session on how HR professionals can create a pro-feedback culture and enjoy continuous improvement.

This event will be in-person at Dutch’s Daughter, but attendees who prepay will receive a link 24 hours prior to the meeting if they wish to attend virtually.

Description:

Highly successful leaders understand the importance of creating and nurturing a culture that encourages feedback exchanges among all stakeholders. Rather than waiting at the end of the year (or project) to conduct performance appraisals, they recognize the significance of providing performance feedback throughout the year (project’s lifecycle) for soaring productivity. They demonstrate how to receive feedback gracefully and provide effective feedback that brings continual performance and relationship improvements. They don’t stop there; they empower their people to excel in giving and receiving feedback. On the other hand, organizations and teams that don’t have such a pro feedback
culture experience many of the following symptoms:

  • Missed deadlines
  • Poor quality deliverables
  • Toxic conflicts
  • High turnover
  • Low morale
  • Similar other symptoms

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize the vital roles feedback plays for soaring productivity and healthier workplace
  • Learn how to create and nurture a pro feedback culture
  • Know simple processes that guide them to provide and receive feedback with ease
  • Use a template to create uniformity
  • Recognize when, where, and how to give constructive and tough criticisms

When: Thursday 5/26 11:30am – 1:00pm
